A 33 year old man from Kirkby was remanded in custody by magistrates last week after being charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs. Aaron Miller, from Vernon Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 10 April.

His arrest is part of an investigation into a county-wide conspiracy to supply drugs. Two other suspects, Tyrone Shand, 36, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood, and Chadwyck Walton, 30, of Hoefield Crescent, Bulwell, pleaded guilty to the same charges and have been remanded in custody until a sentencing hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on 30 May.

Temika Morris, 28, of Merchant Street, Bulwell, has pleaded not guilty, and is on conditional bail until her trial at the same court on 2 December.

Miller was arrested after being stopped by police in the Bulwell area last Tuesday (12 March).

The investigation relates to the supply of different Class A and Class B drugs across parts of Nottinghamshire. Heroin, cocaine, and cannabis were all allegedly sold between 1 January 2023 and 24 November 2023, as part of the conspiracy.

“Drugs can have a devastating impact on communities by destroying everything they touch and ruining people’s lives”, Detective Constable Steve Fenyn, of Nottinghamshire Police, said. “They are also often linked to wider criminal activity, including organised crime, which is why we take these offences so seriously and will always look to bring anyone suspected of involvement before the courts.

“We are pleased to have been able to charge a further suspect in connection with this drugs supply conspiracy.”
