Police appeal after teenager assaulted on bus in Sutton

A 16 year old boy has been assaulted while on a bus in Huthwaite Road in Sutton in Ashfield. The victim, who has not been named by police, was waiting on the bus at around 6.30 pm on Thursday 11 April.

A man boarded the bus, punched the boy in the face, and then got off the bus, leaving the scene in a black Vauxhall Golf.

“The victim in this case is a teenage boy who sustained several nasty facial injuries and a concussion as a result of this attack”, PC Chloe Else said. “We are determined to track down the person responsible and believe the man pictured in these images has vital information.

“We urge anyone who knows him to come forward without delay.”

Police have issued three photos of a man they want to speak to, saying that he “may be able to help with their investigation”. They urge anyone who knows him to come forward.
