Latest Nottinghamshire Police appeals for witnesses across the county

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing to the public for information in a number of ongoing investigations. In some cases, police are seeking witnesses to incidents and in others, they are asking for information to identify people they wish to speak to following incidents.

The issuing of photographs by the police does not mean that those featured are guilty of any offences. The photos are distributed by the police in the belief that the people depicted may have information which can assist their enquiries.

People with information about any of these appeals can contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111. Please quote the incident number when passing on information

Old Basford
Incident number 646 of 4 June 2024

Police want to speak to two youths after a tram driver was injured when a brick was thrown from a bridge. Police believe a group of people were involved in the incident on the Church Street Bridge, in Old Basford, at around 7.00 pm on Tuesday 4 June.

PC Ted Hayes said: “This was a senseless act that could have had devastating consequences and I’m just grateful the driver didn’t suffer more serious injuries and no passengers were injured.”


Nottingham City Centre
Incident Number 590 of 18 May 2024

Police want to speak with this woman after a bank card was used fraudulently in various stores in Nottingham City Centre on 18 May. Police believe the card was used after its owner left his wallet on a bus.

PC Tom Dodge said: “As part of our ongoing inquiries I am appealing to the woman featured in these CCTV images, or anyone who recognises her, to please come forward. We believe she may have information that could help us.”

Police want to speak to the man in these photos after a 25 year old man was punched in a bar in Forman Street on 4 May 2024.

PCSO Mark Fisher said: “The victim in this case was simply enjoying a night out when he was violently assaulted after a brief altercation.”


Nottingham City Centre
Incident number 409 of 21 April 2024

Police want to speak to this man after a box of disposable vapes were taken from Eco Vapes in Upper Parliament Street on Sunday 21 April.

PCSO Megan Harlow said “Our inquiries are very much ongoing, and we would like to speak to the man pictured as part of our investigation.”


Carrington
Crime number 24*191485, 28 March 2024

Police want to speak to this man after an assault in a pub in Carrington on Thursday 28 March necessitated surgery for a 38 year old victim. An unknown man struck up a conversation with the victim, before becoming “irate and angry”.

The assailant then grabbed the victim’s throat and pinned him against the wall whilst punching his ribs and face, leaving him with a broken jaw.

Police Staff Investigator Jodie Ridgewell said: “Since this incident, we have been doing everything we can to find the person responsible for this assault. We are really keen to speak to the man in these images as we believe he can assist with the investigation.”


Radford

Police want to speak with these two people after a 22 year old man was punched following an altercation at a block of flats in Argyle Street, Radford, around 8.30 pm on Sunday 10 March. PC Declan Towl said: “We have pursued several lines of inquiry in this investigation and are now asking the public for help. If you know the people in these images, please call us as soon as you can.”
