Two men are in hospital with serious injuries after a road traffic collision in Mansfield. Two cars collided at the junction of Southwell Road East and Blidworth Lane at 8.03 pm last Wednesday (26 June). The two injured men were both passengers in one of the vehicles.

“This was a very serious collision that left two people in hospital”, Sgt Craig Luckett, of Nottinghamshire Police’s roads policing and serious collision investigation unit, said. “We are currently working to understand what happened and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.

“We would also like to hear from anyone that may have dash cam footage of the collision or the lead up to it.”

Police are asking witnesses to call them on 101, quoting incident 749 of 26 June 2024. They have set up an online link for people with dashcam footage to upload it directly to the investigation team.
