A Sutton couple’s Chausson 640 motorhome has been stolen, just hours after they returned home from a road trip. Thieves broke a gate lock to the secure compound in Hamilton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, where the £58,000 motorhome was stored. The thieves then broke into the campervan and drove it away.

Nottinghamshire Police have now released images of two men they wish to speak to about the theft, saying that the individuals in the images may have information that could assist their investigation.

“The couple have understandably been left very upset by the theft of their campervan, which they only purchased in January”, PC Becky Crafts said. “We are doing everything we can to find those responsible for this horrible crime and bring them to justice.

“Following inquiries, we believe the two men in the images we are sharing today may be able to help the investigation. If you recognise them, please contact us as soon as you can.”

People with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime number 24*223252. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
