Members of the public are being asked to help Nottinghamshire Police find a robbery suspect who allegedly failed to appear in court. Dion Mayall, 21, has links to Southwell and Newark.

Police say the robbery took place in Halam Road, Southwell, around 9.50 pm on 30 March this year. Two people riding an e-bike were deliberately knocked over by a car before the bike was then stolen from them.

Police say that Mayall is wanted in connection with the robbery and for failing to appear at court. They warn the public not to approach him if seen, but to call 999 immediately.

“We are working hard to track down this suspect as soon as possible and are appealing for the public to help us”, Sergeant Rebecca Jepson said. “If you have seen Mayall or have any information on his whereabouts please call us immediately. Information on his whereabouts can also be given via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
